Quick answers for shopping, delivery, returns and product support at Takealot.
How do I choose the correct product?
Compare the exact model, specification, dimensions and included accessories. Tell us about a particular use or compatibility requirement through our contact form before ordering if you need advice you can rely on.
Does a listing mean immediate dispatch?
Check the availability and dispatch information shown for the item and your delivery option. A pre-order or different lead time must be identified. If a date matters, obtain confirmation before you buy.
Where do you deliver and what does it cost?
Enter your address at checkout to view the available service and charge. Large items and some destinations may require an agreed quote. Read Shipping and delivery for details.
How long will delivery take?
Use the dispatch or delivery estimate provided for your order before purchase. We do not apply an unconfirmed fixed delivery time to every product. Contact us if the estimate is missing or if delivery must be made by a particular date.
Can I collect an order?
Collection is available only when offered at checkout or confirmed for your order. Wait for the collection instructions and confirmation that the order is ready before travelling to an address.
Which payments do you accept?
The payment methods available for your order are displayed at checkout. Choose one of those methods and review the total before paying. Do not send card security codes or account passwords through a support message.
Can I cancel an online purchase?
Where ECTA section 44 applies, you may cancel within seven days after receiving goods, without a cancellation penalty; the direct return cost may be payable. Specific legal exceptions apply. Read Returns and refunds and send a clear cancellation request promptly.
What if a product is faulty?
Contact us with the symptoms and proof of purchase. Where the CPA applies, a product that fails its quality requirements can be returned within six months after delivery for your choice of the statutory repair, replacement or refund remedy. Read Returns and refunds; manufacturer cover does not replace those rights.
Must I keep the original box?
Keeping the box makes safe transport easier, especially for screens and appliances. It is not an absolute condition for a statutory defective-goods claim. Use secure packaging and ask us for return instructions.
Is installation or an extended warranty included?
Only when it is specifically stated for the product or separately agreed. Warranty terms vary by model; do not assume an extra warranty period or installation service. See Warranty and product help.
Can I shop without joining a marketing list?
Yes. Marketing is optional. You may unsubscribe or object without giving up your ability to place an order. Necessary order and service messages are separate.
How do I contact support?
Use our contact form. Include your order number if you have one, the product model, the issue and the outcome you need. For privacy requests, mark the message “Privacy / Information Officer”.
